Event Purpose: This initiative stems from a productive meeting with a U.S. House of Representatives Office, where the National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF) requests regarding the coverage of wigs as Durable Medical Equipment (DME) were discussed. With the support of Representative Young Kim for relevant legislation, we are now entering a partnership to draft a powerful floor speech. This speech will raise awareness about alopecia and advocate for the critical bill during Alopecia Awareness Month.
